19th c Corinthian Style Street Lights
Here we have a pair of exceptional Victorian era cast iron street lights. These would have originally had brass or copper kerosene lamps fixed to the tops providing light down a main road in late Victorian Auckland.
These lights have been cast in a Greek Corinthian style with its deep flutes. This style seems timeless and also, so very posh!
These are very heavy and require 3 people to move around.
Size, total length is 2.93m.
The base of one has a large chip in it, this would be concreted underground and does not effect the finished result.
One decorative finial is missing but could easily be recast.
