c1800s Wrought Iron Window Grill
Circa 1800s.
Size 57cm long x 3cm wide x 115cm high.
Perfect as a garden antique or easily used again protecting the glass of a window. This piece of architectural salvage one sat in front of a window opening stopping intruders from entering, this is pre glass as glass was very expensive in the 1800s.
Amazing, stunning, early. Real age here, made by a blacksmiths hand. Amazingly the wrought iron swirls are held on by molded lead in the form off Tuscan column tops which the romans are famous for producing.
